4th - 13th September 2017 (full)
Greenland in the autumn sets off an array of colours in the tundra with shades of blue, pink and gold reflected off floating iceberg in Disko Bay
Travelling by boat, we navigate the ice filled waters at sunset and visit remote settlements along the west coast still alive with ancient traditions and a culture tied to the ocean and prevailing arctic weather. We will trek away from the coast up river valleys and along the coast to some spectacular viewpoints. Bold colours adorn wooden Greenlandic houses and small fishing boats bring in halibut, crab and seal.

Glacial landscapes, Coast & Horses
16th - 25th September 2017 (places available)
This new Wild Photography Holidays trip combines the justly popular ice locations on the south coast with less visited areas in the South East scattered with epic landscapes, small farmsteads and dramatic mountaion scenery. The ancient Icelandic horse forms the backbone of our time there.
The Vikings brought these horses here over 1000 years ago. Observing these hardy creatures on the tundra and galloping on black sand beacheswill be one of our main photographic opportunities along with visits to some of the more remote glacial tongues and lagoons carving from the vast Vatnajokull ice cap.

From start to finish it was impeccably researched, planned and executed with a rich, full and unique itinerary. Paul & Cubby always found us perfect locations during the workshop. The are fantastic mentors from whom I learned alot. I really appreciate how genuine and generous they have been in sharing their knowledge and talent. Thank you "

You are incredibly patient and your creativity for alternative ideas coupled with your positivity was infectious, motivating everyone even when the conditions were a tad trying"

"Just want to say how much I enjoyed the trip - it was a fascinating trip, with amazing scenery and culture and very well organised from start to finish. I have nothing but positive feedback to convey - the hotels were fine, the transport arrangements were first class, the locations and the amount of time we spent at each place were perfect. I owe a big thank you to Geraldine, Martin & Paul for making it such a great trip."

"Thank you so much for an excellent trip. You wore those hats so well : tour guide, chauffeur, mentor, friend. my photography has clearly improved in increments, culminating in better composition, an ability to capture movement and the Northern Lights. I can no longer consider myself a fair weather photographer ! Sock it to me and I will be out there (with super absorbent lens cloths)"
